This is a handy pocket camera that gives very good results for daytime outdoor photography. The optical zoom is limited, but this is not a real concern for landscapes etc. The flash is as limited as are most flashes on pocket digital cameras but if this is taken into consideration before purchase, this should not cause any diappointments.This is not a stand-alone camera for people who are serious about photography, but it is a very good accessory to the larger DSLRs that are difficult to carry around all the time.

I am sorry but I really can not give you a review, because I do not qualify myself to be very knowledgeable about these technical stuff. I just need to take pictures of my flowers and I am struggling trying to use all the features. My computer has a DVD player, not suitable for the CD Rom that came with the camera. I sent an e-mail to Pentax, and their response is that it WILL work. Well, I am a retiree and not very smart about these things, but I tried to play the CDs, and nothing happened.Anne Liem
